Is it ECM or MCE?
You may notice that our literature for Congo uses the acronym MCE rather than ECM. We’re not trying to confuse you! Congo uses French as its national language, so ‘Every Child Ministries’ in French is ‘Ministères pour Chaque Enfant.’ In French, the M still means Ministries, but the the C means Every, and the E means child–just the reverse of English! It’s the same organization. ECM has registered work in Ghana, Uganda, and Congo.
Volunteers Needed and Welcome
Much of the Congo Mwinda Project’s work is done from the coordinator’s home office. Volunteers are welcome at ECM’s International office in Hebron, IN each Thursday morning, 9 a.m-noon CST. Typical volunteer tasks include binding books and assembling kits of teaching materials. It is extremely helpful if you call beforehand so that we can lay out the proper amount of work. Some handwork projects are available for those confined to their homes. Contact the project coordinator for details.
We also welcome musicians, especially those who can play keyboard, piano, and small bands to help us record music from Congo.

The Congo Mwinda Project is sponsored by Every Child Ministries (ECM), a 501 (c) (3) organization. ECM is a Christian mission agency with a goal of bringing salvation, healing and hope through Jesus to the children of Africa, with emphasis on the marginalized, neglected, and forgotten. ECM is a member of ECFA, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. This helps to ensure that proper oversight is maintained and that your gifts are always used as you intended.
