About These Resources

The Bible Teaching Resources on this site are provided by Every Child Ministries (ECM) as a service to the church of Jesus Christ.  They were developed and/or collected by members of the staff of Every Child Ministries.  All are available for use free of charge to all—churches, schools, teachers, parents–who will use them to exalt Christ and advance the Christian faith.  You do not need special permission from Every Child Ministries, but if you would be so kind as to let us know how you are using the materials, this would be an encouragement to us.  If you print them, please include a credit to Every Child Ministries, Mwinda Project https://www.mwindaproject-ecm.com .  This helps more people to find our materials.   Permission to translate free of charge may be obtained by contacting ECM.

Under no circumstances may any of the materials on this site be used to discredit the Bible, our Lord Jesus Christ, or the Christian faith as taught in the Scriptures.  Thank you and God bless you and make you more effective in His service.

We are constantly adding to this site.  If you don’t find what you need, please check back again.

Where is English spoken in Africa?

English is spoken as the official or as a very influential secondary language by 27 out of 54 countries on the African continent.  These include Burundi, Botswana, Cameroun, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.  This means English is the language or an influential language used in government, business, and education.  However, several countries have more than one national language, and some even have more than one national language of non-African origin.  Furthermore, in many countries, the number of people who speak English fluently is very low.
